It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Steele of Marion, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Steele and Irma Steele (Webster); his brother Forest Steele; and his sister-in-law Ann Steele. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Steele of Marion, IA; his daughters, Jane Steiert of Marion, IA, Sara Voyles (Jason) of Trinidad, CO, Peggy Lukenbill of Marion, IA, Polly Steele (Dustyn) of Ankeny, IA and Linda Beaver of Duluth, MN; and his grandchildren, Morgan, Kelsey, Joshua, Andrew, Ben, Emily, Jacob, Haley, Dylan, Anna and Sophia. He is also survived by many loving extended family members and friends.
