She was predeceased by: her stepfather Clarence Brahmstead; her former husband Bruce Wilcox, Sr.; and her brothers, Virgil, Lonnie, Jerome, Earl and Angel.
She is survived by: her pet Sammy; her children, Janet Butterfield (Andrew) of Cedar Rapids, Bruce Wilcox Jr. of Marion and Fred Wilcox (Janelle) of Western, Iowa; her grandchildren, Josh Wilcox (Jess), Ashlyn McMurrin (Gage), Alexis, Thomas, Bradley, Zack, Timothy and Wesley Wilcox; her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Madison, Ayden, Silas, Jaxon and Kyrie; and her siblings, Helen Barnard, Junior Ackerman, Frances Cunningham and Bumpy Brahmstead Jr. (Clarence).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3855 Katz Dr, Marion, IA 52302). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
