She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlin Bachman and Esther Bachman (Suckow); her husband Bill Corkery; her sons, Blaine Corkery and Bradford "Brad" Corkery; her great grandchild Fiona; her brother Gene Bachman; and her siblings-in-law, Louise Bachman, Bill Orr and Tom Wilkinson.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Collins (Gary) of Marion; her daughters-in-law, Sharon Corkery and Mary Corkery; her granddaughter Jillian Kennedy (Charles) of Hiawatha; and her siblings, Sharon Wilkinson of Atkins, Connie Jennings (Neal) of Hudson, Jim Bachman of Hazelton, Jeanette Arment (Hal) of Overland Park and Delores Orr of Fayette, Iowa.. She is also survived by 17 greatgrandchildren.
Memorials in Marilyn's memory may be directed to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy of Hiawatha, Iowa, or Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
