It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lois Gladson of Marion, Iowa, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Shike and Eva Shike (McCaw); her husband Dick Gladson; her son David Gladson; her daughter-in-law Jodi Gladson; and her brothers, Larry Shike (Astrid), Howard Shike (Gertrude) and Kenneth Shike (Ione).
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Gladson (Deb) of Robins and Larry Gladson (Julie) of Marion; and her great grandchildren, Kaelynne, Lynden, Leada Gladson, Jackson, Nora Kray, Brooks and Lucas Gladson. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
Remembering Lois, in lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Hope United Church of Christ where Dick and Lois were founding members or the David Gladson Scholarship Fund directed at enhancing the study of neurological disorders at Iowa State University.
