Kailee Rae Thomae Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kailee Rae Thomae of Marion, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on September 9, 2024, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Don, Ramona Williams and Thomas Gavin. She is survived by: her parents, Paul Gavin of Marion and Traci Gavin (Williams); her son Beckham Gavin Thomae; her husband Derek Thomae of Marion; her parents-in-law, Marty Thomae (Jan) of Van Horn, Iowa and Michele Geers (Mark) of Cedar Rapids; her grandmother Janice Gavin of Cedar Rapids; her brother Trenton Gavin (Haley) of Ankeny, Iowa; and her nieces and nephews, Connor, Camden and Kinsley. She is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kailee's memory may be directed to the family for Beckham's education fund.
