John Alvin Rouse Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Alvin Rouse of Marion, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 7, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Rouse and Anna J. Rouse (Parkhurst); his son Mark Rouse; and his siblings, Bud, Mike, Duane Rouse and Lila Akers.

He is survived by: his wife Nelda J. Rouse of Marion; his sons, Scott Rouse (Melissa) of Raleigh and Allen Rouse of Marion; his granddaughter Desiree Rouse; his great grandchildren, Alexis and Maci Vore; his grandchild Kyle Rouse (Bailie); his great grandchild Audrey Shepherd (Jordan); and his grandsons, Jake Rouse and Austin Rouse. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials in Pete's memory may be directed to the family to be shared with several charities in his honor.
