He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry William "Bill" and Stella Emaline Klinsky (Novak); his wife Dorothy Klinsky; his grandson Tucker McCoy; and his siblings, Glenn, Carl Klinsky and Florence Kadlec.
He is survived by: his children, Carol McCoy of Davenport, Barb Frederick (Fred) of Cedar Rapids and David Klinsky (Vannessia) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Amanda Harris (Scott), Blaine McCoy (Michelle), Ryan McCoy (Alexis), Shawn Frederick, Scott Frederick (Marissa), Alissa Mendoza (Braulio), Erik Klinsky (Briona) and Allie Klinsky; and his sister Ellen Jones of Ely. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
