She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Hawthorn and Margaret Hawthorn. She is survived by: her siblings, Patricia Huff and Charles Hawthorn (Marilyn); her nephews, Jeff Huff (Diana) and Charles Huff (Jill Welter); her niece Melissa Hawthorn (Steve Silver); and her great-niece Mia Silver.

Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Valley Humane Society.
