She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Giblin and Arlene Giblin (Klekar); her brother Dennis Giblin; and her sister-in-law Shirley Giblin. She is survived by: her husband Robert Rutherford of Marion; her daughters, Kristy Rutherford (Daniel Mabikulu) of Marion and Jayme Escobar (Richard) of Bali, Indonesia; her granddaughters, Kianna, Brynlee and Jazlyn Mabikulu; and her siblings, Deb Newton (Chuck) of Buckeye, Arizona and David Giblin (Laura) of Dubuque, Iowa. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials in Diane's memory may be directed to the family to be designated later.
