She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Eggers and Betty Eggers (Bach). She is survived by: her husband John McSweeny of Marion; her sons, John (McSweeny) and Ryan McSweeny (Hannah) of Rochester, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Olivia, Rowan and Conor McSweeny; and her siblings, Lisa Rothmeyer (Randy) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Sharon Teufel (Ron) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Mark Eggers (Denise) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Marion (3855 Katz Dr, Marion, IA 52302). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oak Shade Cemetery.
