He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Reck and Waneita Reck; his in-laws, Lowell and Ruth Manross; his uncle Bud; his aunt Dory; and his nephew Kyle Meier.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Reck; his children, Timothy Reck (Melissa) of Marion and Jen Boog (Marcus) of Little Canada; his grandchildren, Sullivan, Zoee, Bella and Maxwell; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Stiefel of Independence and Kermit Casey of Marion; and his brothers, Dale Reck (Cindy) of Anamosa and David Reck (Betsy) of Madison. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
