She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Bernard and Mary Ann Kurth (Cole); her brothers, Bob, Howard, Albert and Carl Kurth; and her close friends, Norma Jean Schuetzle and Lolita Stephens.

She is survived by: her husband Paul Eugene Krob of Cedar Rapids; her children, Joshua Smith (Ruth) of Lisbon, Heidi Whitney (Grant) of Marion and Amber Heims (Joe) of Toddville; her grandchildren, Wyatt, Maci, Addi, Walker, Hadley, Lakin and Rowan; and her siblings, Betty Boyles, Kathy Hankemeier, Paul, James, Kenneth, Mike and Ernest Kurth.

In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to the Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.
