We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2025, at the age of 78, Carol Ann Lekin Sr. of Marion, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Lekin and Eileen Lekin (Hutton); her brother Gary Lekin; and her great grandchild A'moura Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Carol Lekin Jr. (Rebecca), DJ Fleetwood of Phoenix, Somer Lekin of Marion and Andre Hedgepeth of Scottsdale, Arizona; her grandchildren, Lasha'Lekin, Uriah Royél (Chanse Lekin), Alexis Lashá Fleetwood, Amoni West, Aiden Fleetwood, Clifton West, Adrea West and Herndrixx Hedgepeth; her great grandchildren, Zayden, Kamora, Anthony Jr., A'zayla and Johnathan Jr.; and her siblings, David, Craig, Shawn Lekin and Denise Lekin.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the River of Life Church (3801 Blairs Ferry Rd NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
