He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Joseph and Norma Jean Holub (Smith); his brothers, Kurt and Mark Holub; and his sisters-in-law, Ronda and Kathy Holub.
He is survived by: his wife Rusty Holub of Central City; his daughters, Becky VanDeVegte of Central City and Amanda Manternach (Rod) of Monticello, Iowa; his grandchildren, Stephanie (Lindon), Emalee, Marshal and Zackarie; his great grandchildren, Aniya, Nieko, Kenji, Tobias Blaine, Russell and Rodney; and his siblings, Kevin Holub of Cedar Rapids, Stacey Holub of Hiawatha, Jill Sickles (Bud) of Urbana, Eric Holub (Carrie) of Cedar Rapids and Rylee Holub of Cedar Rapids.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3855 Katz Dr, Marion, IA 52302).
