He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Long and Betty Long (Hunt). He is survived by: his wife Connie Stoneking of Searsboro; his children, Jeffrey Long (Mary) of New Sharon, Debi Staples (Jim) of Montezuma, Jim Long (Tanya) of New Sharon, Steve Long (Terri) of New Sharon and Bryan Long (Jolene) of Eddyville, IA; and his siblings, Eugene Long (Barb) of Montezuma, Sally Galbraith of Saylorville and Dennis Long of Montezuma.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Sharon Fire and Rescue or Camp Sunny Side.
