He is survived by: his parents, Larry Schafbuch of Marengo and Marvel Schafbuch of Marengo; his brother Jay Schafbuch (Erin) of Belle Plaine; his nephews, Jessie Schafbuch (Brooke), Carter and Cooper; his niece Ella Schafbuch of Cedar Rapids; his stepdaughter Bethany Cheney (Tim); his stepgrandchildren, Brayen Shaull of Victor and Adalynn Shaull of Victor; and also Tyler Schafbuch (Breanna) of Cedar Falls.

These donations will be donated to Essence of Life, Amana, Iowa.
