He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Daniel and Etta LaVonne Prescott (Watkins) of Marcus, IA; his wife Barbara Ann McIntire; his children, Roxanne (Delbert Witzke) of Emmetsburg, IA, Rhonda Kayser (Jim) of Le Mars, IA and William "Billy" Prescott (Megan) of Le Mars, IA; his grandchildren, Sam Vander Vegte (Dakotah Lund), Andrew Prescott, Sean Kayser, Spencer Kayser, Noah Prescott, Madalyn Lauman, Grant Prescott, Seth Kayser, Ava Prescott, Paul Lauman, Brody Prescott and Quinn Prescott; and his siblings, Kim Pedersen (Mike) of Little Rock, IA, Rod Prescott (Lynn) of Wichita Falls, TX and Ken Prescott of Wichita, KS. He was also cherished by niece and several nephews.
