He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kay Henke; his stepmother Beverly Galles of Marcus; his children, Geri Lynn Schroeder (Roger) of LeMars, IA, Neal Galles (Holly) of Dodge Center, MN, Nathan Galles (Kim) of Fort Dodge, IA and Greg Galles of Marcus; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Wagenaar (Jeff) of North Liberty, IA, Zach Specht (Kelly) of Omaha, NE, Bethany DeBoer (Dawson) of Little Rock, IA, Ben Specht (Jenna) of Brandon, SD, Mitch Galles (Paige) of Kasson, MN, Brad Galles of Dodge Center, MN, Jacob Galles of Ames, IA, Avery Galles of Iowa City, IA and Grant Galles of Fort Dodge, IA..

He donated nearly 40 gallons of blood over the years and was proud to be a 4th degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus.
