He is survived by: his wife Rose of Marcus, Iowa; his children, Deb (Alex Paul), Ronald Lauters, Rick (Tina Lauters) and Diane (Norm Wernimont); his grandchildren, Angela Spratt (Paul), Amy Maynard (Paul), T. J. Paul, Kaitlin Billingsby (Lauters), Tyler Lauters, Erin Probst (Lauters), Preston Lauters, Madison Lauters, Jonathan Lauters, Lindsey Tonsfeldt (Lauters), Jaclyn Wernimont, Jamie Wernimont and Joel Wernimont; and his brothers, Doug Lauters (Heidi) of Marcus, IA, Danny Lauters (LuAnne) of Gardner, IA and Larry Lauters (Sue) of Runnels, IA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
