He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Busch, and Gertrude Busch, Sr. (Wersinger); his siblings, Betty Freking, Trudy Petersen and Johnny Busch; his in-laws, Herman Freking, Jr., Jack Barrett, Bob Curtis, Ron Uhl, Floyd Cox, Pete Petersen, Mary Busch and Tom Merrill; his parents-in-law, Bernard and Ann Cashman; and his sister Marge Cashman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Laurie Alesch, Anita Schneider (John) of Marcus and Gina Myers (Jeff) of McCook Lake; his grandchildren, Jacob Alesch (Katie), Dan Hueser, Diane Sand (Jonny), Greg Hueser (Jozalyn), Lee Hueser, Paige Moes (Ben) and Austin Sypersma (Leah); his great grandchildren, Ace, Archie and Reese Alesch; his grandchildren, Brady, Addie, Avery Hueser, Cael, Gavin, Ava, Tristan Sand, Ellie Hueser, Parker Sypersma and Naomi Moes; his siblings, Clara Barrett, Helen Curtis, Agnes Cox, Ray Busch (Lupe), Mary Beazley (Jack), Joe Busch (Laurie), Jo Anne Jenness (Al), Joyce Merrill, Paul Busch (Jane), Lawrence Busch (Jackie) and Louise Rodriguez (Reyes); and also, Tom Cashman (Lin), Leo Cashman, Rose Harrow (Rick), Colleen Leibert (Andrew), Janet Greenwell (Robert) and Elaine Cashman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
