He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jean Brooks; his children, Paul Wilkens (Mary Ellen) of Marcus, IA and Diane Sumner (James) of Watertown, SD; his sisters, Ruth Harms (Bill) of Sioux City, IA and Judy Wilkens (Gary Martin) of Parker, CO; and his grandchildren, Dylan Sumner, Sarah Sumner and Christina Wilkens. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
