He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Stodden and Donna Stodden (Harnack); his brothers, Dennis and Gary Stodden; and his father-in-law Gordon Carstens.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Carstens of Marcus, Iowa; his son Karl Stodden (Jen); his grandsons, David and Hunter of LeMars, Iowa; his children, Tim Stodden of Marcus, Iowa, Barb Stodden of Forrest Grove, Oregon and Adam Stodden of Colfax, Iowa; his siblings, Diane Hansen (Ken) of Smithville, Missouri, Steve Stodden (Bev) of Marcus, Iowa and Carla Stodden of Marcus, Iowa; his mother-in-law Joan Carstens of Aurelia, Iowa; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Stodden of Cherokee, Iowa, Joyce White (Lynn) of Stratford, Iowa and Peggy Seel (Roger) of Cherokee, Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
