He was predeceased by: his parents, James Downs and Leona Downs (Raskopf); and his siblings, Tommy, Mary Ellen Downs, Marcia Thill (Harold) and Nancy Blau (Duane).
He is survived by: his wife Doris Wills of Marcus, IA; his children, Steve Taylor (Janice) of Urbandale, IA, Greg Taylor (Bobbi) of Marcus, IA and Darcy Reuter (Allan) of Marcus, IA; his grandchildren, Jacob Taylor (Sarah), Emily Olson (Alan), Samantha Schultz (Tyler), Nick Taylor (Katherine), Zach Reuter (Jenna), Megan Taylor and Molly Reuter; and his great grandchildren, Brady, Addie, Colin, Lincoln, Kinsley, Sam, Matt, Ciena, Theo, Stella, Sylvie, Grace and Maria.
