It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Mae Hermann of Marcus, Iowa, born in Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on July 2, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Mary Cecile Crahan (Bernard); her sons, William "Bill" Hermann (Pam) and Joseph "Joe" Hermann (Karen); her grandchildren, Jeff Hermann (Angie), Brian Hermann (Tonya) and Rob Hermann; her great grandchildren, Noel Marzan, Derrick Marzan, Colbie Johnson, Carter Hermann and Bailey Hermann; her great great grandchild RaeLynn Johnson; her sister-in-law Mary Greiner; her husband Marcus Hermann; her father Edwin Crahan; her siblings, Bill Crahan (Millie) and Mary Jo Mihm (Alex); and her siblings-in-law, Leonard Greiner and Margaret Hermann.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family service will be held at Holy Name Catholic Church in Rockford with inurnment following at Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.
