She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwight Gross and Lucile Moon Gross; her husband Marvin Sassman; and her sons, Jerry, Larry, Ron and Steve.
She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, Mary Sassman (Larry) and Marilyn Sassman (Ron); and her grandchildren, Sherry Mills (Tim), Doug Sassman (Joy), Mark Sassman (Kent Krach), Stacy Sassman (Jennifer), Michelle Stacey (Mike) and Jerry Polfer. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and friends.
In lieu of cut flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church Lorrene attended, New Hope Assembly of God, 4425 70th Street, Urbandale, IA 50322, for the upkeep of the floral landscaping she enjoyed every Sunday.
