With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Robinson (Marathon, Iowa), who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Carpenter and Merle Carpenter (Albaugh); her husband Kenny (Kenny); her children, Beth, Barbara Zevenbergen and Terry; her siblings, Jean Stone, Raymond Carpenter and Paul Carpenter; and her brothers-in-law, Gaylord Lewis, Lee Lindsey, Allen Shaw and Keith Stone.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie (Andrew Hoyt), Becky, Sarah Robinson (Shannon Threlkeld), Bob, Larry, Todd and Chad; her sisters, Cheryl Shaw, Marion Lewis and Glenda Carpenter; her children-in-law, Jerry Zevenbergen and Beverly Robinson; her grandchildren, Tony Putnam (Diane), Tracey Bailey (Dan), Mark Zevenbergen, Jason Zevenbergen, Jill (John McGrane), Rachel Hasenclever (Nick), Chris Laidig (Krista), Ken Laidig (Anne), Ross, Bobby (Elizabeth), Isabelle Robinson and Mallory Robinson; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Carpenter. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Marathon Community Center (306 W Attica St, Marathon, IA 50565). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
