She is survived by: her daughters, Dawn Valenti of Florida, Shawn Purcell (Dan) of Waukee and Candace Smith (Tobin) of Sheldon; her grandchildren, Jeremiah Johnson of Des Moines, JennyJohnson of Grimes, Lane Smith (Catie) and Colin Smith of Sheldon; her great grandchildren, Ella Synawong of Waterloo, Laila Johnson, Roman Wardlow of Grimes, Saydee Johnson of Waukee and Remi Johnson of Des Moines; and her nephew Brian Bland of St. Paul.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northwest Humane Society.
