He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanford Tony and Ethel Marion Edwards (Chase); and his siblings, Jane Manning, Nancy Mortenson and Walter Edwards.

He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Rockwell of Maquoketa, IA; his siblings, Sandy Edwards (Barb) of Charlotte, IA, Joan Manning of Maquoketa, IA, Nellie Clark (Dave Bean) of Maquoketa, IA and Linda Said of Maquoketa, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Edwards of Maquoketa, IA, Mary Horan of Maquoketa, IA and Carol Bowen of Cedar Rapids, IA.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Willard Dale Edwards memorial fund has been established.
