She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Goben and Delores Baker Cecil; and her spouse Gerardo Ventura Ramos. She is survived by: her children, Terrence, English Pickering of Dubuque, Lindsay Thurston (Chad) of Dubuque, Morgan Pickering of Illinois, Kerstin Hernandez (Cristian) of Dubuque, Dalton Pickering of Stockbridge, Georgia and Francisca Ventura of Dubuque; and her brothers, Skip Goben (Sarah) of Missouri and Ron Goben of Missouri.
