As Sharon departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sharon may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sharon leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Scheckel and Ethel Scheckel (Scholtes); her sisters, Phyllis Wagner (Harry) and Linda Budde (Roger); and her sister-in-law Diane Deppe (Gene).
She is survived by: her husband Maynard Kloft; her sister Cheryl Roling (Loran); and her in-laws, Dale Kloft and Mary Lou Clasen (Bobby). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (200 S Vermont St, Maquoketa, IA 52060). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
