He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Delagardelle and Cecelia Delagardelle (Schmitz); and his wife Joan Morel. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kyrstin Delagardelle, Lorene McLaughlin, Mattias Delagardelle, Maddy Rolling, Jack Rolling, Kaitlin O'Bryan and Colin O'Bryan. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 3:15 PM at the Dawson Funeral Services (105 W Maple St, Maquoketa, IA 52060). Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (200 S Vermont St, Maquoketa, IA 52060).
