He was predeceased by: his parents, William Garfield "Bill" and Dorothy Louise Carson (Schoendelen); and his brother-in-law Danny Moon. He is survived by: his children, Valerie Mae (Michael) of Des Moines, IA and Don William (Careyanne) of Maquoketa, IA; his wife Beverly Carson of Maquoketa, IA; his grandchildren, Nate Clark (Jenna), Natalie Disney (Kyle) and Karysa Carson (Michael Seegers); his great grandchildren, Addison and Elodie Clark; his stepgrandchildren, Jaysie Wood and Josie Wood; and his in-laws, Lyn, Joanne Socks, Karen, Dale Lagerman, Ava Moon, Greg and Janet Socks.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to Hospice of Jackson County, Maquoketa Volunteer Fire Department, or the Jackson County Humane Society.
