He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mottet and Leona Mottet (Schwartz); his siblings, Ray, Ed, Frank, Jim and Mary Rogers; and his stepson Phil Schoenthaler.
He is survived by: his former wife Norma Baird (Felker); his daughters, Delores Wellman (John) of Bettendorf, IA and Dianne O'Connell (Dan) of St. Louis, MO; his stepson Marty Schoenthaler (Kim) of Ramona, OK; and his siblings-in-law, Dolores Mottet of Ottumwa, IA and Gary Rogers of Davenport, IA. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Jackson County, Sacred Heart School, Maquoketa, or Honor Flight of the Quad Cities.
