It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Frank Larkey of Maquoketa, Iowa, who passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Frank Larkey to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Larkey and Ella Larkey (Lorenzen) of Onslow, Iowa.; his wife Myrna Larkey (Gohlmann); and his grandson Brogan Dietz. He is survived by: his sister Belgian; his children, Troy Larkey (Shonna) of Great Falls, Rick Larkey (Dana) of Hiawatha, Scarlet Dietz (Craig) of Maquoketa and Robin Krogman (Paul) of Elvira, Iowa; his grandchildren, Levi Larkey (Brittni), Alyssa Larkey, Danielle Riley (Jake), Brandi Tomasich (Fowler), Amanda Larkey, Morgan Dietz, Montanna Krogman and Ciera Krogman; and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Hicks (Darrel), Kathy Becker (Lary), Galyn Gohlmann (Rhonda), LuJean Gocek (Lud) and Karen Steffen (Florian). He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the immediate family will hold a private funeral service on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Fulton Community Church in Fulton, Iowa with Colleen Petaros officiating the service.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to the Robert Larkey Memorial Fund as the family will be establishing a livestock auctioneering/agricultural compassion fund in Bob's name.
