He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Atkinson of Davenport and Rhonda Schnoor-Scheidel (Todd) of Clermont, IA; his sister Ronda Jo Atkinson; his grandson Antonio Akright; his cousin Bubba Brummett; and his brother-in-law Todd Crane.
He is survived by: his wife Alicia Akright; his children, Richee Max Atkinson Jr. of Davenport and Autumn Atkinson (Silver Losh) of Cedar Rapids; his stepson Tyler Akright (Maleah Wilson) of Davenport; his grandchildren, Marco and Neveah Akright; and his brother Ryan Atkinson of Davenport.
