It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Madonna Marie Garien (Maquoketa, Iowa), who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. Schreiber and Irma E. Schreiber (Kanneberg); her husband Charles E. Garien; her children, Wayne, Chuck, Craig and Kristy; and her brothers, Kenny, David and Cecil.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy Schreiber Daniels (late Steve), Linda Manning (Gary) of Maquoketa, James Garien of Camanche and Kelly Garien of Clarinda, Iowa; and her sister Sherry Campbell (John) of Maquoketa. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 8 great – great grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the family care of Carson Celebration of Life Center, Maquoketa, Iowa or to the Hospice of Jackson County.
