It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leo H. Martens of Maquoketa, Iowa, born in Clinton, Iowa, who passed away on August 29, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, August Martens and Anna Martens (Diercks); and his nephews, Randy and Joel Martens. He is survived by: his children, Jody Martens (Laurie) of Bellevue and Penny Martens (Scott Stefl) of Sydney, Australia; his grandchildren, Mckenna and Mckayla Martens; his brother Lawrence Martens (Jean) of Camanche; and his close friend Peg Stevens of Maquoketa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Jackson County in his honor.
