We are sad to announce that on March 11, 2025, at the age of 88, Jerald A. Watters of Maquoketa, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvie Watters and Velma Watters (Meyer); his wife Barbara Ann McCrady; his brothers, Junior Watters and Harold "Louie" Watters; and his siblings-in-law, Steve McCrady and Lorraine McCrady.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Goble (Sonny) of Wyoming, IA, Cindy Monson (Les) of Maquoketa, IA, James Watters (Stacey) of Hobart, IN, Mike Watters (Shelley) of Michigan City, IN and Jennifer Waltert (Eric) of DeSoto, MO; his cousin Gary Watters (Mary) of Clinton, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Watters of New Orleans, LA and Robert McCrady (Bonnie) of LeClaire, IA.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Hope Cemetery (200 E Summit St, Maquoketa, IA 52060).
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Jerald A. "Jerry" Watters Memorial Fund has been established.
