We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2022, at the age of 84, Harvey Leo Soenksen of Maquoketa, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Soenksen and Bernice Soenksen (Hamilton); his wife Laurel A. Hute; his son Harvey Jr.; his siblings, Beulah Soenksen, Lulumay Tate and Wally; and his close friend Carol Armstrong.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Blake of Dubuque, IA and Jean Springer (Randy) of Maquoketa, IA; his grandchildren, Kristina Blake, Eric Clark (Caitlin), Jordan Butteris, Mason Springer and Alexis Springer; and his great grandchild Alexander Clark.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Harvey L. Soenksen memorial fund has been established.
