It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry Rubel Jr. (Maquoketa, Iowa), who passed away on October 27, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harry Rubel Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sr. Rubel and Margaret Rubel (Schmidt); his great grandchild Matthew Reuss; and his sisters, Donna Merrick (Clifford "Bud"), Saverna Sieverding (Gerald) and Lavonne Stevens (Earl).
He is survived by: his wife Eloise Eckelberg; his children, Debra Marcus (Wayne), Brenda Snyder (John Connole), Rick Rubel (Cathy), Lisa Gottschalk (Ray "Bouck"), Wendy Westemeyer (Jerry) and Jason Rubel (Maggie); and his sister Karen Davison (Dick). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
Due to COVID restrictions, the family asks that masks be worn and that you respect social distancing requirements.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests memorials for the St. Lawrence Church Cemetery Fund.
