It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia Shady of Maquoketa, Iowa, born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 23, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward and Clara Pauline Lund (McConkey); her husband Jesse Neville Shady Jr.; her children, Donald, Debbie and Darla; her grandson Christopher; and her siblings, John Jr., Lewis, Hubert, Leslie, Ronald, Richard, Clara, Thelma and Lillie.

She is survived by: her children, Dean Shady (Cindy) of Clinton, IA, Dennis Shady (Maureen) of Pittsville, VA, Danny Shady of Maquoketa, IA and Darin Shady (Keri) of Maquoketa, IA; and her granddaughter April.
