It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene Leo Stillmunkes (Maquoketa, Iowa), who passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter F. Stillmunkes and Rose C. Stillmunkes (Leuchs); his wife Margaret Jane; his brothers, Cletus, Eldon and Raymond; and his son-in-law Ron Quick.
He is survived by: his children, Dianne Callahan (Terry) of Epworth, Darlis Spaete (Dan) of Bettendorf, Gary Stillmunkes (Pat) of Westminster, CO, Rose Schulte (Ted) of Bradenton, FL., Paul Stillmunkes (Linda) of DeWitt, Jeannie Quick of Davenport and Tom Stillmunkes of Dubuque; and his siblings, Delores Hoffman and Glen Stillmunkes. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and twenty-five great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID -19 pandemic, a private funeral mass will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Otter Creek.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family asks that Catholic Masses be said in his memory or memorials be made to St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
