She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Harold Brady; her children, Wilfred Michael "Wil" Carew (Katherine) of Cedar Rapids, IA, James David Carew (Donna) of Iowa City and Susie Shollenberger (Les) of Davenport, IA; her grandchildren, Erin Strickland (Damon), Nicholas Carew (Joalene) and Tyler Shollenberger; her great grandchildren, Evan and Paige Strickland; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Audrey, Ellie and Livian Grissel.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Dorothy A. Brady memorial fund has been established.
