He is survived by: his wife Lynn Nissen of Maquoketa, IA; his children, Rae Simonin (Greg Schmitz) of Baldwin, IA, Rhonda Hulsebus (Jack) of Maquoketa, IA and Kelly Cavanagh (John) of Maquoketa, IA; and his siblings, Cindy Hoffman (Fred) of Alpharetta, GA and Chris Nissen (Mara) of Maquoketa, IA.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Jackson County or the David A. Nissen memorial fund.
