She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Bowen and Thelma Lorraine Bowen (Vaught); her daughter Dena Lynn; and her siblings, Kevin, Dennis, Dee Hill and Karen Steines.
She is survived by: her husband Larry McPherson of Maquoketa, IA; her children, Shawnna Owen (Tony Stagg) of Davenport, IA, Matt McPherson (Holly) of Bellevue, IA and Adam McPherson of Maquoketa, IA; and her siblings, Jeryl Bowen (Carol Feller) of Maquoketa, IA, Denise Zirkelbach (Larry) of Wilton, IA and Tonya Duhme of Dubuque, IA.. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
