It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charline Ruth Petersen of Maquoketa, Iowa, who passed away on October 31, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Linius and Margaret C. Bailey (Klemme); her husband Alvin F. Petersen; her daughter Judy Keltner; her siblings, Robert, Frank, Owen Bailey, Marian Todd and Maxine Jones; and her half-sister Jennie Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Petersen (Joan) of Maquoketa, IA and Wayne Petersen (Patricia) of Maquoketa, IA; her son-in-law Ken Keltner of Overland Park, KS; her sister Catherine Bailey of Maquoketa, IA; her grandchildren, Michelle Burkey, Bradley Petersen (Karen), Jeremy Simmons (Jenny), Eric Petersen, Greg Petersen (Kathryn) and Kara Kraxberger (Adam); and her great grandchildren, Hunter, Remington, Abby, Aiden, Isaac and Rachel.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Charline R. Petersen memorial fund has been established.
