He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mae Dimmer of Theresa's Catholic Church; his children, Jim Westphal of Davenport, Julie Hernandez (Jesus "Piri") of Rock Island and Joel Westphal (Kimberly) of Fruitland; his grandchildren, Dakota Westphal, Keosha Westphal, Chelsey Hernandez and Adriana Hernandez; his great grandchild Clark Westphal; his sisters, Marcella Burmahl of Maquoketa and Janet Schmidt of Maquoketa; and his sister-in-law Lois Westphal.
