It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jane Scott of Maquoketa, Iowa, born in Clinton, Iowa, who passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Becker and Mary Becker (Koranda); her husband Lewis Junior Scott; her son Lewis Wayne Scott; her grandson Aaron Scott; and her siblings, Vernon Becker and Mary Ellen Flagel.

She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Scott (Wendy) of Maquoketa, IA and Steve Scott (Linda) of Baldwin, IA; her grandchildren, Tiffany Mangler (Brad), Jennifer Holst (Jason) and Christopher Scott (Katie); and her sister Edith Ireland.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Betty J. Scott memorial fund has been established.
