It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arlo G. Yarolem of Maquoketa, Iowa, who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Yarolem and Lydia Yarolem (Marek); and his brothers-in-law, Ernest Redmond and Roger Dreismeier. He is survived by: his siblings, Ronald Yarolem (Sue) of Davenport, Vivian Redmond of Davenport and Rosemary Dreismeier of Springville; his nieces and nephews, Cynthia Bender (Larry), Dianna Amhof (Randy), Dennis Redmond, Michelle Klinzman (Gary), Rodney Dreismeier (Andrea) and Tammy Dirks; and his close friends, Audene Voelzke and Alan Mohr.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (200 S Vermont St, Maquoketa, IA 52060). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mayflower Cemetery (42nd St, Iowa 52323).
To honor Arlo's memory, memorials may be directed to Sacred Heart Church in Maquoketa.
