It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley L. Theobald of Mapleton, Iowa, who passed away on June 10, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, H. L. "Pete" Sankey and Goldie Sankey (Bresler); her husband Harlan Theobald; her brother Sherwin Sankey (Irma); and her niece Anita Sankey.

She is survived by: her son Ken Theobald (Kathy) of Webster City, IA; her grandchild Jayde Delano (Dan) of Astoria, Oregon; her child Shannon Bryan (Garey); her grandchildren, Morgan and Maddie of Story City, IA.; her daughter Jenna Mether (Alex); her grandchildren, Aven and Elle of Council Bluffs, IA; her son Craig Nielsen (Diana); her grandchildren, Ashton and Jens of Omaha, NE.; and her sons, Kade and Dane (Addi) of Omaha, NE.. She is also survived by parents, grandparents and relatives.
